The men and women who served in the armed forces, whether during a time of war, or one of peace, are living examples of that contradiction. Charles Graham Porter, 83 years of age, passed away May 13, 2014, in Tampa Florida. Born in Pikeville, KY, he was the son of the late Jacob Graham Porter and Lyda McGuire Porter.
