James Owen Sturdivant, 58, of Prestonsburg, KY, passed away Friday, May 13 at Pikeville Medical Center following an extended illness. He was born in Hazard, KY on May 16, 1963.
He is preceded in death by his father, Wiley Albert Sturdivant.
James is survived by his mother, Clarita Seals Sturdivant of Mallie, KY, his life partner, Charles Boudreau; 2 sisters: Tammy Sturdivant and Mary Ross, both of Medina, OH and 2 brothers; Marious Sturdivant of Prestonsburg and Roy Dean Sturdivant of Spencer, OH and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family have chosen the professional and loving staff of Carter Funeral Home to oversee this last act of love and respect.
