Betty Music Bays, 89, passed away Wednesday, November 25 at Riverview Healthcare in Prestonsburg, KY. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Paris and Ova Wilson Music and her husband, John Bays, Jr. She is survived by 2 sons: James (Rose) Bays and Michael (Tina) Bays; 2 daughters Myra (James) Gillispie and Teresa Stafford; 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and her sister-in-law, Geneva Cox. Visitation and graveside services will be conducted under the professional and loving guidance of Carter Funeral Home while adhering to the state and federal mandates placed due to the COVID 19 pandemic. Betty will be laid to rest in Gethsemane Gardens.
