Frank McGuire Jr., age 74, of Prestonsburg, Ky, passed away at his home on January 9, 2020, after an extended illness. Visitation will be on January 11,2020 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home of Prestonsburg, Ky. Funeral services will be held January 12, 2020 at 2 p.m. at the Carter Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Bobby Spencer of Auxier Freewill Baptist Church officiating. Frank was born on January 22, 1945 to Frank and Grace McGuire. He graduated from Morehead State University and was a teacher at Prestonsburg High School for 29 years. Frank is survived by his wife, Kaye Milligan McGuire, three sons, Sean H. McGuire(Suzanne), Adam R. McGuire(Channa), and Nick L. McGuire(Kelly), brothers, Kimber McGuire(Anne), Beverly C. McGuire(Penny), grandson, William A. McGuire and nephews Jason T. Milligan(Libby), Jared McGuire(Jenna), Jason McGuire, niece Larissa J. Milligan and a host of other relatives and friends.
