Thomas Rayburn Wilson, 82, of East Point, KY, passed away Friday, August 2, at Highlands ARH Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Delmas and Emogene George Wilson, and his wife Betty Lou Shepherd Wilson and 1 brother, Larry D. Wilson. Mr. Wilson is survived by 2 children, a daughter, Pamela W. (Reese) Ray of East Point, KY and a son, Thomas R. (Tabitha) Wilson, Jr. of Cross Lane, WV, 2 sisters, Brenda McKenzie and Della Plummer, both of Auxier, KY and 1 brother, Mike Wilson of Prestonsburg, KY. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, August 5 from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. under the loving and professional care of Carter Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 6 at 11 a.m. at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel with Tommy Reed officiating. Burial will follow at the Ford Cemetery, Prestonsburg, KY. In lieu of flowers, family has requested donations be made to the Lancer Baptist Church.
