Alberta Vaughan Baldridge, age 87, of Prestonsburg, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Prestonsburg Health Care Center. Alberta is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Austin Baldridge and a son-in-law, Dennis Potter. She is survived by a son, William Baldridge, a daughter, Haroletta Potter(William Dennis), Three grandchildren; Angela Potter, Courtney D. Humphries and William Stacy Potter and five great grandchildren; Miles Scott Goodman, Ryan Nichols Goodman, Clara Madison Potter, Masann Harden Potter and Cooper Lee Humphries. Alberta was a member of the Ladies VFW Auxillary. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 25th from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the Carter Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Ronnie Chaffins officiating. Alberta will be laid to rest in the Baldridge Family cemetery at East Point, Ky. In lieu of flowers family has requested that donations be made to VFW Post 5839 Homeless Shelter 3106 South Lake Dr. Prestonsburg, Ky. 41653.
