William Dennis Potter, 69, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 31, at Highlands Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Born Aug, 9, 1949 in Prestonsburg Ky, he worked as a coal mining superintendent, and a Pike County detective. He is preceded in death by his parents, Chester Delbert Potter and Lois Brookover and a brother, Steve Potter.and a nephew , Kevin Slone. He is survived by his wife, Haroletta Baldridge Potter, a son, William Stacy (Katherine) Potter, a daughter, Angela Potter 2 granddaughters, Clara Madison Potter and Masann Harden Potter 2 grandsons, Miles Scott Goodman and Ryan Nichols Goodman and a sister, Sherry Potter (Greg) Shepherd. Visitation will be Thursday, Nov. 1 from 5-9 p.m. and Friday, Nov. 2 from 12 (noon) -8 p.m. Funeral Services will be Saturday, Nov. 3 at 11 a.m. at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at the Baldridge Family Cemetery at East Point, KY.
