Goldie Calhoun Rorrer, 89, passed away Saturday, June 23 at her residence following an extended illness. Goldie was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Rorrer and both parents, Tom and Margaret Calhoun. She is survived by 2 brothers,Lester Calhoun (Sheila) and Estill Calhoun (Opal), 2 granddaughters, Melissa Horne and Christina Crider, 1 grandson, Cody Branham, 2 great grandchildren, Caitlyn Horne and Christian Horne and a son in law, Don Branham. Visitation will be Monday, June 25 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 26 at 11a.m. at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel. Family requested that contributions be made to the Tom Moore Freewill Baptist Church.
