Elva Baldridge Spradlin, 104, of East Point KY, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Northpoint/Lexington Healthcare Center in Lexington KY.

Elva was born February 9, 1913 in Floyd County KY, the daughter of the late Virgie Baldridge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Spradlin, a son Robert Lee Spradlin, and a grandson Lee Anthony Spradlin.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Charles Herbert and Wanda Lee Spradlin (Versailles KY), son Larry David Spradlin (El Paso, Texas), daughter-in-law Maxine Spradlin (Flatwoods, KY), and grandchildren Charles Thomas Spradlin (Lexington, KY), Jennifer Lee Spradlin (Versailles, KY), Jason David and Michelle Spradlin (Los Angeles, CA), and great grand-children Eden Sanderson and Oliver Sanderson (Los Angeles, CA).

A longtime resident of Liberty Ridge Assisted Living in Lexington KY, she was considered their most important public relations officer, greeting everyone at the door with a smile and a kind word. She was a 39-year member of the Adah Chapter #24 Order of the Eastern Star, the oldest member of the General Marquis Calmes Versailles Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, and an associate member of the Harmons Station Paintsville Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home in Prestonsburg, KY with funeral service to follow. She will be buried in the Baldridge family cemetery with numerous generations of her family.
