Obituary for Charles Graham Porter
Charles Graham Porter, 83 years of age, passed away May 13, 2014, in Tampa Florida. Born in Pikeville, KY, he was the son of the late Jacob Graham Porter and Lyda McGuire Porter. He moved to Tampa in 1957. Charles was a manufacturer of PVC pipe and was a veteran of the Korean War. Charles is survived by his wife, T. Starr Nicholson Porter; sons John G. Porter and James K. Porter; sister Mary Sue Hunter; niece Mary Beth McCann and three grandchildren: Darian, Skylar and Eden Porter. Visitation will take place Saturday June 7, 2014 from 1pm-3pm with funeral services at 2pm at Carter Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Porter Cemetery, Prestonsburg, KY. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Charles' name to the Alzheimer's Research and Prevention Foundation. The family has entrusted arrangements to the Carter Funeral Home, Prestonsburg, Kentucky
