Betty Ann Roberts,90, passed away Friday, May 18 at Highlands Regional Medical Center. Betty was the daughter of George Workman and Vennie Holliday Workman. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carlos E. Roberts, a brother, Gilbert Workman, and a daughter-in-law, Anita Roberts. Survivors include a son, Bill Roberts, a granddaughter, Leslie (Todd) Ann Tucker, a step granddaughter, Paula Ratliff, 2 great grandsons, Bryce and Chase Tucker and 2 step great grandchildren, Slone and William Ratliff. Betty was a member of the First Christian Church of Henderson but while living in Prestonsburg, attended the First United Methodist Church. She worked at the family's business as the secretary/treasurer and part owner of Roberts Supply Company. Visitation will be Sunday, May 20 from 4 until 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be Monday, May 21 at 11 a.m. at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel. Family has entrusted Carter Funeral Home with the arrangements.
