Bucky Ray Collins, 59, passed away Wednesday, Jan 10 at home. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ernestine Collins and his father, John Albert Collins and 2 sisters, Valerie Gay Collins and Julia Gayle Collins. He is survived by his wife, Deanna Slone Collins, 2 daughters, Savannah Ward (Rick), Elizabeth Collins and 3 grandchildren, Alissa Mullins, Celina Mullins and Wesley Ward. He is also survived by 4 brothers, Johnny Joe, Haskell Gene, Albert Brian (all of Prestonsburg, KY) and Barry D. Collins (of Allen, KY) and 2 sisters, Bonnie Sue Collins of Lexington, KY and Connie Lou Royer (Jim) or Dubois, PA. He was a member of the Auxier Freewill Baptist Church. He was formerly employed by East Kentucky Beverage Co. ( Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company). Visitation will be Saturday, January 13 from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Carter Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Sunday, January 14 at 2 p.m. There will be additional visitation before the funeral services starting at 10 a.m. Sunday morning and lasting until the time of the funeral services.
