Born January 12, 1956, in Warsaw, Indiana, he was the son of the late Bennie Rose and Addie Mae Burke. He was employed as a truck driver with United Parcel Freight and was a member of the Teamsters Union. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Devon Shepherd Rose of Prestonsburg, a daughter, Misty Dawn Rose and Granddaughter Kayla Gail Booth of Prestonsburg, 3 brothers, Charles and Reggie Rose of Prestonsburg and Homer Rose of Salyersville; 2 sisters, Nancy Gibson of Warsaw , Indiana and Ella Webb of Prestonsburg. He was preceded in death by a brother, Teddy D. Rose Funeral services will be Thursday, November 2, 2017, at 11:30am at Carter Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 4:30pm-9pm Tuesday and all day Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, family has requested monetary donations be made to Kayla Booth's educational fund at Community Trust Bank.
