Nancy Vaughan Martin, 82 years of age, passed away Sunday, October 4, 2015, . She was born January 26, 1933, at Hopewell Virginia, the daughter of the late Harry H. Vaughan and Agnes Samuels Vaughan.
She graduated from Hopewell High School in Hopewell, Virginia and from James Madison University. She was on the board of the Jenny Wiley Theater and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Prestonsburg for over 55 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard EArl Martin and a daughter Susan Martin Wells. Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth A. Martin of Knoxville, Tennessee and a granddaughter Katherine Ann Wells of Paintsville, KY
