Betty Lou Shepherd Wilson, 75 years of age, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2015, at her residence.
Born July 10, 1939, at Water Gap, Ky, she was the daughter of the late Wilce Shepherd and Madge Cochran Shepherd. Betty was a homemaker and a member of the Homemakers Club and a member of the Lancer Baptist Church of Prestonsburg. Survivors include her husband, Thomas R. Wilson of East Point, KY, 1 daughter, Pamela Ray and her husband, Reese of East Point, 1 son, Thomas(Tommy) R. Wilson, Jr. and his wife, Tabitha of Cross Lane, West Virginia, 4 grandchildren: Jessica Ray Johnson, Greg RAy, Tiffany Thompson, Tamara Wilson, 2 great-grandchildren, Wesley Johnson and Samuel Johnson. Betty was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Gary W. Shepherd and Chester Shepherd. Memorials are suggested to Lancer Baptist Church or Fitzpatrick Baptist Church.
