Obituary for Green Bailey Cawood
Green Bailey Cawood, 82 years of age, passed away Monday, March 10, 2014, at his residence. Born August 22, 1931, at Red bud, Kentucky, he was the son of the late James M. Cawood and Lela Smith Cawood.
Green was formerly employed by Ford Motor Company in the Quality Control Division and was a member of the United Auto Workers. He attended the Free Pentecostal Church of God at East Point, KY.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma Semilena Wilson Cawood, 1 son, Green Cawood, Jr. of Vail, Arizona; 2 daughters: Lucendia Sue Cawood of Prestonsburg, KY, Kila Denise Wells of East Point, KY; 9 Grandchildren, numerous Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, March 15, 2014 at the Free Pentecostal Church of God, East Point, KY with Pastor Joshua Hayton officiating.
The family has entrusted arrangements to the Carter Funeral Home.
